We are seeking people willing to help teach Safety & Ed classes in the high schools.

As a chapter we believe that education is the key to reducing motorcycle accidents. To this end the Brothers of Grundy Safety and Education program is invited into area High School Drivers Education classes to deliver our Safety and Education program.

Our goal is not to teach the young drivers to ride motorcycles, rather to increase their awareness level to a point that they will be continuously aware that motorcycles are on the road.

We do not go into a class preaching anti-helmet propaganda. A.B.A.T.E. is not anti-helmet, we believe in freedom of choice. We actually encourage the up and coming motorcyclist to take motorcycle safety courses and to wear a helmet until they are experienced enough to make the choice themselves.

Safety and Education instructors are well received in all of the classes they give and are readily invited back for the next semester. If your school is not giving the young drivers the advantage of participating in this program please feel free to give them our number or contact us and we will contact them and set up the classes.
