Legislative: HB 473 is still out there - contact your Congressmen to vote NO on this one. HB 1845 ABATE strongly supports this bill - please get behind this one. SB 2596 was placed on the calendar it will be progressing.
Starved Rock Chapter signed two more new members and they are Jim Christianson and Ted Anderson. Welcome to the chapter!

A group of us from the chapter made the trip to Springfield for the 18th Annual Freedom of the Road Rally. This rally is intended to show our legislators that we are united toward one goal -- Freedom for Motorcyclists! This is a chance to meet your State ABATE officials and express any concerns or just say thank you for the job they’re doing for us.
We will once again have our booth in Marseilles on June 21 for the ride to the Wall. Some volunteers to help man the booth are needed. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! You don’t have to stay all day, maybe just an hour or so! Contact Jeanne Lindenmuth or any officer.
