Legislative History - Our Resume

A list of bills ABATE & its founders have influenced in the Illinois General Assembly

Only bills that have been called for a vote are listed as Passed or Defeated.
You will see that many bills are listed as re-referred to the rules committee, or assigned to another committee and not listed as passed or defeated. If a bill is not called for a vote before the 2 year General Assembly is up it has effectively died. For the issue to be brought up in a future General Assembly it would have to be re-submitted as a new bill - and be assigned a new number.
