I have been riding motorcycles off and on for the past 30 years and became a member of Kishwaukee Valley ABATE, a chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois, in 1997. At present I'm trying to wear out a 2007 Electra Glide Classic and a 2007 Road Glide. I enjoy riding through our great country as a Free American and will strive to insure we all can do so in the future!

I started my motorcycling on my brother's mini bike. No fenders, bad brakes- I was hooked. Graduated to sitting behind Dave on various motorcycles and eventually got my own. I have an '82 Low Rider that I've put about 95,000 miles on and bought a new one in '04 for a back up bike. It has about 13,000 miles on it.
I graduated from ISU with a Bachelor's in Education and got my Master's degree from Northern. I taught high school art and history until I retired in 2008.
Dave and I have been married for 30 plus years and have put many, many miles on our motorcycles. We've done Sturgis, Bean Blossom, and some other parties, but think the state party is the best!
We've been members of Twin Rivers since the second year it began and I have been an officer for almost every year. Since I retired I thought I should do a bit more and found myself volunteering for the secretary position.
