Welcome to the Brothers of Grundy Homepage! Brothers of Grundy is a Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois (A Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education.) A.B.A.T.E. is a not for profit organization dedicated to motorcycle safety and the preservation of motorcyclists rights. There are currently 60 A.B.A.T.E. chapters in Illinois. Our MissionThe mission of Brothers of Grundy and A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois is to preserve the universal right to a safe, unrestricted motorcycling environment. To fulfill this mission we will:
We firmly believe that education not legislation is the answer to preventing motorcycle accidents, and this is the reason Brothers of Grundy exists. Do you ride ATV's or dirt Bikes? We support your rights as well. How? Just check the sites or come to a meeting and ask. We will answer all questions. We are here for you. Are you here to help? Ask us how you can help. Chapter ProfileBrothers of Grundy was established in October, 1989 by a handful of dedicated motorcyclists from Grundy County, Illinois that believed in the preservation of motorcyclists rights, off road too. Today the chapter is over 300 strong and growing because of individuals like yourself who believe in freedom of choice. We are located in Grundy County, Illinois which is approximately 45 miles southwest of Chicago. (See map) Brothers of Grundy meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. at the Morris V.F.W. Post #6049, 309 McKinley, Morris, IL. Everyone is encouraged to attend and support your freedom of choice.
