Legislative: Dave Kelley Joined KV ABATE in '98 & was appointed to fill a vacancy in legislative the same year. I've been KV's legislative coordinator ever since. Started riding in the late 60's with a Honda S65 to putt around U of I with. Had about a 10 year hiatus from riding during & after serving in the Army. Got back into it in the 80's with a Suzuki 500 Titan (a 2-stroker) followed by a Honda 750 4-K followed by 3 Honda Goldwings. Currently riding an '86 Goldwing Aspencade. I've been a Libertarian Party activist since 1980, running for office a total of 7 times, including being the Libertarian candidate for Governor in 1994. Also served as State Chair from 1999-2001. Last April finished an 8 year term on the Rockford School Board. Was board president for the last 2 years. Currently running for Winnebago County Board in the upcoming Republican primary. Also enjoy singing, gardening and taking our 2 dogs (Freckles & Coco) for walks in the park.
