Its time to prep for the new riding season too. You know changing oil,
airing up tires, cleaning off last years road grime, putting on your 2012
plate sticker, checking your battery and adding a fresh set of plugs. How
bout your bike insurance? Do you have enough coverage? We ride on bikes not
in cars so if we go down its going to hurt and cost more for medical bills.
Check your policy make sure you don't skimp here. Its not that much more to
carry a higher coverage. You'll be glad you up it if anything does happen.
If you got the bug to ride but don't have a motorcycle license get signed
up for the FREE riding courses offered by the state. They added more classes
this year. They even have a three wheel course down in the southern part of
the state. It's a great way to get your license and they supply the bike. We
want you safe and educated so please take the time to get legal.
The banners are going up. Check out the one in front of Kegels H-D...its a
big one. If you have your yard signs its time to get those out in your front
yard. If you don't have one see Tina Tufly in products. She has a limited
supply and you can pick them up at the meeting. She also carries lots of other
cool ABATE gear like t-shirts, pins, bandannas, license plate frames, bike
flags, hoodies, ladies tees, koosies, sweats, ear rings, patches, ABATE ties,
decals, jackets and a ton of other stuff. If she doesn't have what you want
she can order it. I just checked out the Il. ABATE on line store. Pretty cool
and they have monthly features items there. This month is license plate frames.
The store is in the products area of the website so start surfing. The state
paper has a products ordering area for your convenience too. So get your ABATE
products for this riding season.
Remember to take care of your bike or it won't take care of you...and ride defensive
for your own good!
