Please contact these individuals and let them know that helmets are not the answer because they do not reduce accidents.  Only education does that.  We are interested in safer motorcycling, not safer crashing.

This will be the 4th hearing on helmet bills this week.  Things are happening hot and heavy; so, we need to be sharp and involved.  Whether you can come to Springfield or not, everyone needs to contact their representatives and let them know where we stand.

If you can possible get off work, please come to Springfield on both Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  We can meet at the hearing locations shortly before the committee sessions start.  Here is a summary of the hearings scheduled this week in Springfield:

This is it: the big push.  This is when and where we battle for our right to ride as we chose – not as Big Brother would have us ride.  This is no time to be too busy to pick up the phone or to take a day off.  This is the time to be counted.

Can we count on you?
